16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with additional vertical blind fillets towards spine edge; four raised bands; blind fillets on spine; spine lable with author and title; evidence of ties; fore-edge titles and press mark (?O5 or O6); parchment manuscript waste used as endleaves (probably as pastedowns, now unstuck); later paper endleaves affixed to parchment endleaves and pasted to boards.
