18th-century sprinkled, mottled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five supports (three laced into boards); blind fillets and rolls forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; five raised bands; paper spine label with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
