No. [blank]”. “Thomas” added in manuscript in gap before “Freke”. “377” added in manuscript in gap following “No”. Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham, Dorset by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. Spine label (now on upper board) with "158". Gillingham reference -/377/158.

18th-century sprinkled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on five support; three supports laced into boards; blind fillets forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title (now on upper board); gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
