Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham, Dorset by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. "K17" inscribed on upper flyleaf. Spine label with "120". Gillingham reference K17/407/120.

18th-century sprinkled and plain brown calf over rope-fibre boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming three concentric rectangular frames on boards, with blind stamps at outer corners of middle frame; four raised bands; gilt tooling on spine; paper spine label with title; gilt roll around board edges; text block edges sprinkled red.
