Part of the Gillingham Parochial Library, bequeathed to the vicar and feoffees of the parish lands of Gillingham, Dorset by Thomas Freke (d. 1718?), and placed on permanent loan in Salisbury Cathedral Library 25 November 1992. "Q18" inscribed on upper flyleaf. Gillingham reference Q18/-/-.

17th-century brown sheepskin over paper boards; repaired 1983; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with additional vertical blind fillets towards spine edge; smooth spine; horizontal blind fillets on spine; one fore-edge clasp and evidence of second clasp.
