16th-century dark brown calf over paper boards; sewn on three alum-tawed thongs; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards; blind stamped centrepiece; three raised bands; blind tooling at head and tail of spine; later gilt tooling on spine; spine label with author and date; printed waste used as endleaves.
