16th-century reddish-brown calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming two rectangular frames on boards, with gilt stamps at outer corners of inner frame and gilt centrepiece; raised bands; blind hatching at head and tail of spine; spine label with title; text block edges sprinkled red; fore-edge title.
