Late 17-century mottled calf over paper boards; sewn on four supports; blind fillets forming rectangular frame towards edges of boards, with blind stamps at inner corners; four raised bands; blind fillets and roll on spine; later gilt fillets and "1570" on spine; spine label with "Erasmi Apophthegmata"; text block edges sprinkled red.
