18th-century black goatskin over paper boards, sewn on 5 supports. Blind fillets and rolls forming four concentric rectangular frames on boards, joined at corners, and with blind stamps at outer corners of second frame. Spine gilt, with red leather title-label reading vertically "Ordaining". Marbled endleaves.

Ink updates to royal family (after 1762) on p.5: in place of "Frederick", "the Princess of Wales" and "Issue of the Prince and Princess of Wales", insert "George" and "The Princess Dowager of Wales" (the latter trimmed in binding).
