Description
Citation from Robert Woodward Dean of Salisbury and the Chapter to all vicars choral and especially Benjamin White[ar] one of them and our sub[communar]. Tradition holds that all dignitaries, archdeacons and canons or prebendaries of this church congregate at the yearly feast of Pentecost in the Chapter House of Sarum. The mandate orders dignitaries, archdeacons and canons or prebendaries (listed) to be present at Pentecostal Chapter on Wednesday 15 June between the hours of 9 and 11 before midday.
