Description

Small paper notebook, 105mm x 170mm, with 14 leaves, no cover. The first page is headed "G. Holmys in officio anno domini 1526". There are various dated entries in ink until 1559, and "1561" is written in pencil (in a later hand?) on the penultimate leaf. The notebook contains: - a list of "festa decani"; - notes of payments due to the fabric fund; - a list of dignitaries and prebendaries, with their Cathedral stalls; - a division of the Psalms for daily recitation; - the menu for "A banket 1549"; and - various other miscellanies.
