A letter to "The Dean & Chapter of the Church of Sarum" from Thomas Egerton (1540-1617), Baron Ellesmere (1603-1616), Lord High Chancellor and Lord Keeper of the Great Seal (1596-1617), addressed from York House. The letter concerns "weekly contributions . . . towards the relief of the poor of your citty" but it is damaged and part of the text is missing.
