Description

Letter from John Bowle (Dean, 1620-1630), "To . . . my very loving Brethren of the Chapter of the Cathedrall Church of Sarum". Written from London, "att the Lady [illegible] howse in Blackfryers near The [illegible]; the illegible words appear to have been scratched out. The letter relates to some issue between the Dean and Chapter, the basis of which is unclear. It talks of "proofes" to be demonstrated by "roles and leiger bookes".
