Account Roll of the Manor of Chardstock, 4 Sep 1417 - 8 Jan 1418, originating at the time of a vacancy in the bishopric. Robert Hallam, bishop (1407-1417), died on 4 Sep 1417; John Chandler, bishop (1417-1426), was consecrated on 12 Dec 1417. Henry V released the temporalities to John Chandler on 8 Jan 1418. William Werkeman held the prebend of Chardstock, 1415-1426. A single membrane, 80 x 28 cm. Some (possibly chemical?) staining; some ink has bled through to the verso.
