Indenture of an exchange of an acre of land between Thomas Burell and Adam Lucas. The item is endorsed as follows (translation of the Latin): charter of Thomas Burell, of one acre in exchange with another acre. The top part of the item is badly stained and cannot be read fully - uncertainties will be indicated with square brackets. Thomas Burell grants unto Adam Lucas and his heirs one acre [of his land which] lies between his close and between his land, in exchange [with a certain other] acre [of land which] lies between Thomas Burell's acre and an acre of the Canons of Bradenstoke, for the said Adam and his heirs to have and to hold from Thomas Burell and his heirs. Thomas Burell and his heirs warant the said acre to the said Adam and his heirs against all men and women.
