Description
The Dean and Chapter with the assent of William Osgodby Canon Residentiary and warden of the lands and tenements of the Choristers grant to Walter Maior [?Major] and Joan his wife all that cellar situated in New Sarum under the Guildhall ('Gilda Aula') of the Bishop, with two doors on the east and west sides, to have and to hold for 21 years. The annual rent was 40s to be paid at the four terms of the year in equal portions. Given at New Sarum.
