Description
Lease made between the Dean and Chapter on the one part, and Richard Cherite of New Sarum mercer and his wife Cecily on the other part. The Dean and Chapter grant to the said Richard and Cecily all that tenement or shop with a 'solarium' (terrace or upper room) built above it, situated in the said city next to the west door of the Guildhall Tavern opposite the great market there on the north side of the said door (measurements are given), to have and to hold for 40 years. Given at New Sarum in the Chapter House.
