Description

Indenture made between Daniel Whitby Canon Residentiary and Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter of the one part, and Andrew Baden of New Sarum Mercer of the other part. The said Daniel Whitby and Dean and Chapter grant unto Andrew Baden their tenements and kitchens with the appurtenances (detailed description given) to have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was £5, 14s, 8d to be paid at the four usual feasts of the year in equal portions. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Robert Edmonds and George Frome.
