Description
Counterpart of indenture made between Isaac Walton Canon Residentiary and Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter of the one part, and Thomas Obourne [Obourn] of New Sarum in the county of Wilts tailor of the other part. The said Warden and Dean and Chapter grant to the said Thomas Obourn their corner tenement where Thomas Obourn lives in New Sarum in the street there commonly called the Fishrowe [FIsh Row] abutting upon the lands of the Warden and Dean and Chapter now in the tenure of Thomas Naish the Younger clerk on the west part of the entry of the tenement of Joseph Mede gent being the lands also of the Warden and Dean and Chapter on the north part, and the Queen's highway on the east and south parts with the appurtenances. To have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 26s 8d at the four usual terms of the year in equal portions. Sealed and delivered being first stamped with a double sixpenny stamp in the presence of George Frome Senior, George Frome Junior and Thomas Frome.
