Description
Indenture made between Thomas Hide [Hyde] Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter of the one part and Roger Luxmore of New Sarum in the county of Wiltshire Yeoman of the other part. The said Warden and Dean and Chapter grant unto the said Roger Luxmore their corner cottage or tenement with the appurtenances now in the occupation of Roger Luxmore in New Sarum adjoining the Wall of the prisons called the Convicte [Convict] and the Grate on the west part, the lands of the Warden and Dean and Chapter now in the occupation of Roger Luxmore on the south part and the river on the east part. To have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 4s to be paid at the four usual terms of the year in equal portions. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of John Lowe and [A] Souche.
