Mrs Mary Ewer's counterpart of an indenture made between Thomas Lambert Canon Residentiary and Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter of the one part, and Mary Ewer of Clarendon Park in the county of Wiltshire spinster of the other part. The said Warden and Dean and Chapter grant unto the said Mary Ewer their corner cottage or tenement with the appurtenances now in the tenure of Mary Ewer in New Sarum adjoining to the Ward of the prisons called the Convict and the Grate on the west part, the lands of the Warden and Dean and Chapter on the south part and the river on the east part. To have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 4s to be paid at the four usual terms of the year in equal portions. Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Richard Sho[..] and Thomas Naish.
