Description

Indenture made between John Bampton Clerk and Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter of the one part and Samuel Kite of Tilshed or Tilshead in the county of Wiltshire husbandman of the other part. The said Master and Dean and Chapter grant unto the said Samuel Kite their cottage or tenement with the appurtenances in Tilshead late in the possession of Anne Alexander widow deceased. To have and to hold for and during the natural lives of Samuel Kite aged 23, William Kite aged 5 and Thomas Kite aged 2 and for and during the natural life of the longest liver of them. The annual rent was 3s on the Feast of St Michael. Sealed and delivered, being first stamped, in the presence of John Kite and Thomas Frome public notary.
