Draft agreement made between Charles Myers Clerk, Canon Residentiary and Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter owners and proprietors of the Rectory or Parsonage of Preshute in the county of Wiltshire (the vendors) of the one part and Charles James Kindersley Maurice of Manton Grange in the parish of Preshute esquire (the purchaser) of the other part. The vendors sell to the purchaser lands, hereditaments and premises in Preshute in the county of Wiltshire now in the occupation of the purchaser containing 44 acres, 3 roods and 14 perches described in the schedule and delineated in the plan. The purchase money was £1615 11s 3d and £161 as deposit. Witnessed by John J Hammond Solicitor and Chapter Clerk, H A Ferrett Clerk to Mr John J Hammond and W H Heale Clerk to Messrs Gwillim Porter & Co Solicitor in Marlborough. There is a schedule and coloured plan. The agreement is heavily annotated.
