Description
Draft conveyance made between Charles Myers Clerk, Canon Residentiary and Master Warden or Governor of the Choristers and the Dean and Chapter owners and proprietors of the Rectory or Parsonage of Preshute in the county of Wiltshire (the vendors) of the one part and Charles James Kindersley Maurice of Manton Grange in the parish of Preshute esquire (the purchaser) of the other part. This deed witnesses that in consideration of the sum of £1615 11s 3d paid by the purchaser to the vendors the vendors as trustees for the Choristers convey unto the purchaser all those lands, hereditaments and premises situated in the parish of Preshute comprising 44 acres, 3 roods and 14 perches described in the schedule and shown on the annexed plan, together with one moiety of the soil of the bed of the River Kennet. To hold in fee simple subject to conditions. Witnessed by John J Hammond Solicitor and Chapter Clerk and H A Ferrett Clerk to Mr John J Hammond. There is a schedule and coloured plan.
