Description
The first part of the title is faded but is probably 'Minute Book.' The rest of the title is 'Vic. Chor. Eccles. Cath. Sarum. 1800.' Minute book of meetings of Vicars Choral, from 1800 to 1867. At the front it is written, 'This Book was purchased in May 1800 by Edward Moore, Procurator, at the request of his Brethren, Dr. Skinner, Mr Benson, & Mr Evans, for the purpose of registering the Transactions of their Meet-ings on business respecting the Body of Vicars of the Cathedral Church of Sarum.' The book includes resolutions, copies of letters and notes of payments in addition to minutes. 'W' is written on the spine. 'No. 2.' is written on a sticker on the front.
