Conditions of sale by public auction re Miss Taylor deceased her house in the Close. On the back is an agreement that 'I John Joseph Hammond of Salisbury Solicitor on behalf of Mrs Louisa Purvis of Ferndale Wilton Road Salisbury in the County of Wilts Widow hereby acknowledge that at the Sale by Auction this Twelfth day of February 1891[...]I was the highest bidder[...]and declared the Purchaser thereof subject to the foregoing Conditions of Sale at the price of £155...' The agents for the vendors (the executors of the late Miss A M Taylor) were K. Macdonald and Malden.
