Assignment of a Messuage or Tenement, Garden Plot and Premises in the Close from Edmund George Benson and Another to Miss Mary Richardson

Indenture made between Edmund George Benson of the Close of the first part, Fitzherbert Macdonald of the Close of the second part, Charles Dew of New Sarum of the third part and Mary Richardson of Fisherton Anger spinster of the fourth part. It references the lease dated 28 Oct 1856, and states that George Lewes Benson bequeathed the premises to his daughter Sarah Anne Benson, who in turn bequeathed it to Edmund George Benson. This indenture witnesses that he sold the leasehold premises to Mary Richardson for £710 to have and to hold for the remainder of the said term of 40 years subject to the payment of 14 shillings and 2 pounds. Signed and sealed by E G Benson, F Macdonald, C Dew and Mary Richardson. Witnessed by Henry Merrick clerk to Messrs Macdonald & Brodrick [Solicitors], and by [T [?] Richardson].
