Description

Agreement for sale and purchase made between Frances Stevens of the Close Salisbury widow (the vendor) and Anna Maria Taylor of the Close spinster (the purchaser) for a leasehold dwelling house in the Close in the occupation of Frances Stevens for the residue of a term of 40 years granted by the indenture of lease dated 28 Oct 1856 at the price of £600. The purchase was to be completed on 29 Sep next at the office of [Messrs] Wilson [?Thring] Hodder and Wilson, the vendor's solicitors in Salisbury. A further 7 conditions are given. Signed by Frances Stevens and witnessed by B A Wilson solicitor. There are some notes in pencil on the back listing fittings including blinds and curtain rods (see CO/VC/4/3/16/9).
