Description

Certificate for the redemption of land tax for the messuage in the Close. It is agreed with the Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars for the redemption of 12 shillings land tax charged on all that messuage or tenement and court situated in the Close now in the occupation of Mary Pitman together with a wash house or parcel of building thereto belonging formerly a garden now in the occupation of Mrs Kitty Kneller. 'Miss Kneller now Miss Wyndham' is written on the item.
