Counterpart of a lease between the Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars of the Cathedral Church of Sarum on the one part and Charlotte Wyndham of the Close of Sarum spinster on the other part. The Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars lease to the said Charlotte Wyndham their garden or orchard formerly two plots of ground between the subdean's house on the east part, the highway leading from St Ann's Gate towards the Church on the south part and the Close wall on the north part, to have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 17 shillings to be paid at the 4 feasts of the year. Signed, sealed and delivered by Charlotte Wyndham being first stamped in the presence of [William Dyke] Whitmarsh. 'In the Close. No. 13.' is written on the item (in red ink).
