Description
Counterpart of a lease between the Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars of the Cathedral Church of Sarum and the Reverend George Bingham of Pimperne in the county of Dorset (in trust for Eleanor Poore and her sister Charlotte Poore according to the will of George Mullens). The Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars lease to the said George Bingham their messuage or tenement within the Close with the highway or green on the south part and the Close wall on the north part, to have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 8 shillings to be paid at the 4 feasts of the year. 'Close No 1' is written on the item.
