Description

Counterpart of a lease between the Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars of the Cathedral Church of Sarum on the one part and Charlotte Poore of High Hall in the County of Dorset spinster on the other part. The Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars lease to the said Charlotte Poore their messuage or tenement situated within the Close of the Canons with the highway or green on the south part and the Close wall on the north part, together with all houses, tenements or gardens, [?backsides] and appurtenances, to have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 8 shillings to be paid at the 4 feasts of the year. Signed, sealed and delivered by Charlotte Poore in the presence of Peregrine Bingham clerk and Nathaniel Templem[a]n clerk. 'Close No 1' is written on the item.
