Description
Counterpart of a lease between the Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars of the Cathedral Church of Sarum on the one part and Charlotte Poore of the City of Bath in the County of Somerset on the other part. The Procurator and Commonalty of Vicars lease to the said Charlotte Poore their messuage or tenement within the Close of the Canons with the highway or green on the south part and the Close wall on the north part, with all houses, tenements, gardens, backsides and appurtenances, to have and to hold for 40 years. The annual rent was 8 shillings to be paid at the 4 feasts of the year. 'Close No 1' and 'Whitmarsh Salisbury' are written on the item. This was previously enclosed within the associated lease.
