Description

Draft document, possibly of a deed. It begins, 'the sayd Viccars Choralls from henceforth for ever hereafter shall be freed and Discharged from the payment of thirty shillings yearly unto George Lowe one of the sayd Lay Viccars.' It then states that in the leases of the Vicars Choral 'an Inventory or Terriar of the manno[rs] Lands or Tenem[ents] Leased should be Inserted or entred into the body of the sayd Lease or annexed thereunto' in addition to a proviso that dilapidations, taxes, subsidies and rates laid on landlords by new acts of Parliament be laid on tenants. The Vicars Choral consent to this, with exceptions for the leases granted under the parsonages of Laverstocke [Laverstock], West Hanny [Hanney] and Broad Windsor [Broadwindsor].
