Description
A first edition of Sarum Close by Dora H Robertson, 1938 (dust jacket missing). Two letters have been kept with the book - one is affixed to the inside front board, the other is loose. Both letters are addressed to Canon Goddard dated 10 March and 6 April 1938. Dora Robertson expresses her relief and gratitude to Canon Goddard re his positive feedback about her book and refers to the return of various papers which she had previously lent to Canon Goddard. "Capes told me that 500 copies of the book have been sold to date..."
