A handwritten note of a description of a piece of bar which supposedly 'formed part of the octagonal bar with one of the rivets which surrounded the Spire immediately under the Capstone'. Much of the note is indecipherable. Accompanying the note is a draft transcript by Canon Christopher Wordsworth.
