Description

Inspeximus of Elizabeth I with the Great Seal attached, relating to land in Dorset. The deed is signed by Sir Matthew Carew (1531-1618), Master in Chancery, and by William Lambarde (1536-1601), Master in Chancery, Keeper of the Rolls from 1597 and appointed Keeper of of the Records in the Tower of London by Elizabeth I shortly before his death in 1601.
