Description

Two associated documents joined together, concerning: 1. the appointment by Thomas Peters, Shipwright, of Bridport, Dorset, of his sisters Joan Young and Mary Chaplin as his attorneys; in English, 6 Mar 1694. 2. the navy ships of the line, "Elizabeth" (70 gun third rate, launched 1678) and "Carlisle" (60 gun third rate, launched 1693), and also referring to Joan Young and Mary Chaplin as executrices of the late Thomas Peters; in Latin, 8 Jan 1696.
