From Darkness to Light: Henry Moule's map

A copy of a hand-drawn outline plan of Salisbury Cathedral, showing the processional route of the choristers (decani and cantoris) for the "From Darkness to Light" service on the first Sunday in Advent, 1985, showing the locations of various kinds of candles ("clusters" and "planks") with instructions for the "taperers" for lighting the candles. The lighting at the service was planned by Richard Seal, (1935-2022), organist and master of the choristers (1968-1997). The plan was given by Henry Moule, who drew the original plan and was involved with the "From Darkness to Light" service for 20 years.
