Description
Records relating to the organisation of the Creation Festival (26-28 May 1990). The aim of the Creation Festival was to show what could be done to conserve the environment. It took the form of Special Services in the cathedral as well as displays and other attractions within the Close.
Includes: letter to Close residents explaining the aim of the festival and programme of events (25 April 1990); correspondence with speakers; copy of address for Festival Eucharist; and copies of the following lectures scripts: 'The Environmental Challenge', 'Freedom and Love in Creation' and 'Our Fragile Planet - Handle With Care'.
