Description

Three tracings or designs for a stained glass window - two can be matched up. Installed by John Beare in the central lancet of the South West Window in 1819. Moved to their current position as part of s33 when Mary Lowndes recreated this window in 1924. (a) Pencil inscriptions on reverse read: 11 S window SW aisle, West Window NOT NOW 1961, South Aisle 8 dexter light sinister side, [?] part of 11. (b) No inscription (c) Pencil inscriptions on reverse read: South Wall South Aisle 8th wdw dexter light sinister side. Pencil numbers C1, C2, B3, A1, A2, E, D. B1 and B2 notes made by the paper conservator.
