Description

Letters Patent of King Edward III giving licence, in spite of the Statute of Mortmain, to John Husee to give 14 marks annual rent in Kyngeston Deverell [Kingston Deverill] to the rector and brothers of the house of Edyndon [Edington] and to hold in perpetual alms forever, and similarly give licence to the rectors and brother to hold the same. Witness: the King at Westminster 16th November in the 35th year of his reign. The initial 'E' has been left blank.
