Description
This volume was possibly completed at the request of Bishop Seth Ward. It includes lists of: Bishops of Sherborne, Wilton, Old Sarum and New Sarum, Dean, Precentor, Treasurer, Archdeacons of Salisbury, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Subdean, Succentor, and holders of each prebend. For each name the day, month and year of appointment is recorded as well as the chapter act book, bishop's register or other register (together with the folio number) in which the information is recorded. Two folios at end appear to record the value for taxation of each prebend. The final folio includes information about other locations.
