Includes lists of: Bishops of Sherborne and Wilton, Old Sarum, New Sarum (last bishop entry Ricardus Willis 1721), deans, precentors (up to 1823), chancellors, treasurer, archdeacons of Sarum, archdeacons of Wiltshire, archdeacons of Berkshire, archdeacons of Dorset, subdeans, succentors,and prebendaries. On folio 60v there is a separate list of ''A catalogue of the Bishops, and deans and canons residentiary of the Church of Sarum according to their seniority from the restoration of the king and church anno domini 1660'. Folio 64r contains 'Modus recipiendi novum episcopum and deans and canon residentiary (Juramentum)' ending with 'A Layman's oath in English ie a layman of the Quire of the Cathedral Church of Sarum'. Folio 69 contains 'Articles posed unto the Dean and Chapter 1584' followed by their answers re residence and canonical houses. There are two loose sheets: a note calculating the age of Thomas Hite based on his appointment to various posts, and a printed sheet 'Notice to the owners of Keys' which is addressed on the reverse to Canon Wordsworth.
