Description

Ink and watercolour drawing, showing a service of Baptism taking place in the North East Transept or Morning Chapel of Salisbury Cathedral. The officiating Clergyman holding the baby, with six other adults and five children gathered round the ninetenth century font. An unidentified tomb to the right. Set in a possibly contemporary or near-contemporary mount, showing some foxing and staining, with traces of glue to the back.
