Articles of Agreement between the Dean and Chapter and "Thomas Harris Organ maker concerning the said Thomas Harris his making of an Organ with Foure stops and one Halfe".
The consideration for the making of the organ was to be £30, which the Chapter would "allow" out of the £50 which Thomas Harris owed to it.
Signed by Thomas Harris, and witnessed by one Michael Wise, and by Canons Richard Drake, Thomas Henchman, Thomas Lambert, John Priaulx and Thomas Smith.
Thomas Harris also assented that "in case he perform not his forenamed promise at the appointed time it shall be lawful for the said Chapter to make sale of his Organ deposited in their hands".
Signed by Thomas Harris, and witnessed by one Michael Wise, by Jane Drake and by Canon Thomas Smith.
It is unclear whether this organ of four and a half stops is a new stand-alone small organ or an addition to the Great Organ.
