Description
On the flyleaf there is an extract from Bishop Geste's will. The first section of the main text contains an alphabetical list of the books by 'compartment'. The second section of the book which runs from back to front [reverse] starts with a list of manuscript books, then a calculation of the number of books on each bookcase and shelf followed by a list of books on each bookcase (listed alphabetically by bookcase). There are six loose sheets mostly calculations of book numbers. On inscription at the top of the flyleaf reads 'Catalogue made by James Henry Holloway 1815'.
