Description
'Nineteenth century' binding for MS13 prior to rebinding in circa 1950. Contains the following inscription by Harry Bailey 'Before the MSS were repaired and rebound after c1950 most of those rebound from c1850 were covered in this cloth, even the very large and heavy folios 183 & 185 etc.' Also noted are the manuscript's previous shelfmarks 107 and 179. Salisbury Cathedral Library bookplate (19th century) with 13th-century Dean and Chapter seal and inscription “Sarum Cathedral Library.”
