Description

Wordsworth's own transcript of the calender at the beginning of MS150. Includes sketches of the signs of the zodiac and his own additional notes. At the beginning is a note on inscriptions at the beginning of MS 150 by Henry Hatcher from which Wordsworth deduces that the manuscript must have been rebound no later that 1830. At the end are further notes by Wordsworth on the manuscript discussing: whether the gloss was transcribed from another manuscript; the quantity and folio numbers of missing capitals; notes of the imagery of the 'human' figures; use of coloured inks. Includes a letter from Sir Ivor Atkins, Librarian Worcester Cathedral thanking Wordsworth for lending his this transcript and notes.
