Description

A licence of marriage granted by Edward Lowry Henderson, Dean of Salisbury Cathedral, to allow Edwin Charles Lewis Parker of the Parish of St Martin, Salisbury, Solicitor and Notary, a Bachelor of full age, and Emily Tatham of the same Parish, a Widow, to marry at Salisbury Cathedral within three months of the date of the licence. They were allowed to marry in the cathedral because Edwin was enrolled on the church electoral roll of the area in which the cathedral was situate and so it was his usual place of worship.
